Coroner

The County Coroner: 

The county coroner is called to investigate deaths that occur in the county in accordance with state statutes.  Determining the manner, cause of death, and the need for an autopsy and/or toxicology is the responsibility of the coroner.  Death certificate information is completed by the coroner, as well as establishing and organizing review panels. Medico legal death investigation training is required every year.
